Context of the community in which he works
Adolescents, young people in these groups and their families aided by the institution are permeated by the context of social issues, such as unemployment, urban violence, domestic violence, links to drug trafficking, structural problems of basic hygiene and conditions precarious housing.
The community wants to do more and more and wants to overcome these problems that minimize or eliminate interpersonal relationships, making children and young people vulnerable, especially in the pursuit of their rights as citizens.

Main activities carried out
The Lúcia Mavorne Social School looks after 512 children and adolescents, providing them with basic education in the perspective of a complete education. All services are free and prioritize families in situations of social vulnerability.
Volunteers profile
Be willing to work on educational projects with teenagers and young people. Be over 18 years of age.

Accompanying the activities carried out in the classroom
Participate in pedagogical-pastoral formation
Support library, sport and team related activities
Support activities related to the library, sport and convivial moments of the team of educators.
